Something About the Author – Vincent S.

Hi, I’m Vincent, the creator behind White Mist Studio. I produce our Immersive videos, Ambient soundscapes, and articles focusing on Digital Wellness and Relaxation, using Australia’s nature, light, and sound to offer a quiet space for rest, focus, and emotional clarity.

Australia’s landscapes have shaped a large part of who I am—its forests, coastlines, long roads, shifting weather, and quiet, open spaces. Long before I entered university, I dreamed of doing a full road trip around Australia – “The Big Lap”. I even bought a thick paper road atlas (back when Google Maps wasn’t a thing yet) and spent times tracing possible routes, marking every place I wanted to explore.

But, just like many of us after graduating, life, work, and responsibilities pulled me in other directions. The Big Lap trip never happened—at least not yet.
One day, when I finally begin that journey, you’ll see the entire experience unfold through my articles and YouTube channels. And I promise to take you along for every sunrise, coastline, and silent road.

Over the years, my work required me to drive across almost every corner of Victoria, Australia — sometimes through rain, sometimes under harsh sunlight, or across quiet country roads at dawn. Through these countless hours on the road, I discovered something simple but profound:
nature never rushes, never demands, and never forgets us.
It waits quietly, until we are ready to notice it again.

Before becoming a full-time creator, I was a qualified chef. That experience taught me precision, awareness, and sensitivity to rhythm and atmosphere. Combined with my love for photography, film, road trips, and Australian landscapes, these elements naturally shaped the way I create:
long, steady shots; gentle sound design; soft colors; and an emphasis on presence rather than information.

I am also a practitioner of Tibetan Buddhism. Although I’ve only been practising meditation for two years, it has already changed how I understand both calm and creativity. Through meditation, I’ve learned that a quiet mind not only helps us relax—it lifts our clarity, sharpens our awareness, and nourishes both the body and spirit. Because of this, I don’t see music or natural sound merely as “relaxing”, but as something that can gently elevate the mind, open space inside the heart, and help us reconnect with who we are beneath the noise.

We all carry stress—whether from family, work, finances, or sometimes simply from our own thoughts. But I’ve learned that driving to the ocean, listening to the waves, and feeling the wind can remind us of something important:
the world is still beautiful, still here, still holding space for us.
We just forget to look.

White Mist Studio, to me, is not a content brand.
It is a quiet space.
A place where you can slow down, breathe, and reconnect with yourself—even if only for a moment.

If you ever need calm, clarity, or a sense of gentle presence, I hope my videos and writings can be there with you, quietly accompanying you whenever you need them.
